Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) has announced the appointments of Tedd Kruse as v.p., Corn Processing, and Duane Holz as general manager, North American Food Oils.
In his new position, Kruse will be responsible for sales and marketing for corn-based sweeteners in North America. He will report to Dennis Riddle, president, Corn Processing. Kruse most recently served as v.p., North American Food Oils, and has been working with ADM since 1993.
“Tedd’s vast experience in both commodities and sales management makes him the ideal person to manage sales of our corn sweetener products,” said Dennis Riddle, president, Corn Processing. “Customers will benefit from Tedd’s knowledge of agricultural commodities as well as his understanding of the issues they face in their businesses.”
As the new general manager of North American Food Oils, Holz will be responsible for commercial activities in that business. He will report to Mark Zenuk, v.p., Global Oilseeds. Holz most recently served as general manager of European Oils and Fats in Rolle, Switzerland, and joined ADM in 1998.
“Duane’s extensive knowledge of the oils industry spans both North America and Europe,” said Zenuk. “We look forward to the global insight Duane will bring to our customers in North America.”
