Nestlé is the leading company in U.S. frozen pizza, with growth of 1.75 percent in dollar sales for the 52 weeks ending April 17, 2016, with revenue of $2.0 billion and a 42.52 percent dollar share of the category, per IRI, Chicago.
The company is also a leader in refrigerated and frozen cookie dough with its Toll House brand. Per IRI, Nestlé sits in the No. 2 slot for refrigerated cookie dough, up 1.90 percent in dollar sales to $202.6 million for the reporting period, and 40.19 dollar share of the category.
In frozen snacks and appetizers, Nestlé’s Hot Pockets brand has seen strong performance over the past year in the wake of new product introductions, including its Hot Pockets Food Truck bites snack rolls. Overall, Nestlé was up 87.65 percent in dollar sales to $49.2 million in the category.
