The 44th International Sweets and Biscuits (ISM) Fair in Cologne continues to deliver attendees a host of confectionery options to satisfy the world’s sweet tooth.
Flexitarian. White chocolate. Ethical marketing. Retro. The four S’s (Snacking, sharing, simplicity, sustainability). Technology. Those are just some of the buzz words and trends from this year’s International Sweets and Biscuit (ISM) Fair in Cologne, Germany.
ADM also said it had recently had extensive negotiations with a potential buyer about the sale of the company’s global cocoa and chocolate business, but in the end, they couldn’t agree on terms.
The 45th ISM - the International Sweets and Biscuits Fair, slated for Feb. 1-4, 2015, is adding themes to its show, expanding it traditional focus, which is on confectionery and snack items.
