The Rainforest Alliance and UTZ, two of the world’s leading sustainability certification organizations, will merge later this year.

This year, the Utz holiday snack offerings include legendary, melt-in-your-mouth White Cheddar Cheese Snowballs; delicately baked, bite-sized Holiday Shaped Pretzels; and the always popular Chocolate Covered Specials Pretzels.

Utz Quality Foods, LLC and Metropoulos & Co. have formed a strategic partnership, with Metropoulos & Co. making a significant investment in the 95-year-old company.

Golden Enterprises, Inc. (the “Company”) and Utz Quality Foods, Inc. of Hanover, PA (“Utz”) announced that they entered into a definitive merger agreement on July 18, 2016, pursuant to which Utz will acquire the Company and Company stockholders will receive $12.00 per share in cash.

Utz Quality Foods has added new Crab Cheese Balls to its snack line. 

Located in Hanover, PA, the new building will be used for warehousing to support Utz Quality Foods’ many snack brands.
