Organizers for ISM have postponed the 2023 show from January to April 23-25, citing the cost increases facing the confectionery industry and unpredictability in consumer behavior.

Effective June 1, Claire Steinbrück, previously director of imm cologne, will become vice president FoodTec. Bastian Mingers is transferring from Messe Düsseldorf to Cologne to assume responsibility for the Food business unit.

Koelnmesse will welcome 1,200 exhibitors from more than 60 countries to Cologne for ISM 2022, set for Jan. 30-Feb. 2, after canceling the in-person trade fair last year.
