Candy becomes first Hershey Co. brand to reach $100M in annual sales outside of North America; achievement reflects company’s international growth strategy
Effective May 13, The Hershey Co. global leadership team will look slightly different. By mostly promoting key executives from within, the multinational chocolate and sweets manufacturer looks to further enhance its ability to execute its business strategy, accelerate international growth as well as develop and broaden leadership talent.
The Hershey Company, in partnership with cocoa supplier Agroindustrias Unidas de Cacao SA de CV (AMCO), will bring the “food of the gods” back to southern Mexico.
“Moderate” growth for the next five years might not sound all that exciting for those in the chocolate confectionery industry, but it’s at least better than the “sluggish” growth they’ve dealt with the last five years.
