The American Bakers Association and Valley Cooperative Association have entered into a unique membership arrangement which will leverage key strengths of each organization.

“We look forward to getting to know Valley Cooperative Association’s staff and wholesale baker members,” said Robb MacKie, president and CEO of the American Bakers Association. “This partnership is the embodiment of one of our core initiatives to strategically align the baking industry.”

“Becoming an ABA member was an easy decision for Valley. We understand that having easy access to the right resources has never been more vital to our members’ success,” added Valley Cooperative Association president Mark Munroe. “We admire the great work ABA does for our baking industry. We believe our Cooperative community of bakers, millers and allied companies will bring value to the group and also benefit from sharing the journey with ABA.”

Valley Cooperative Association will receive several membership benefits including ABA digital communications, special registration offers for meetings and conferences, issues guidance from ABA professional staff, and the ability to enroll in ABA’s Cookie & Cracker Academy.

ABA president & CEO Robb MacKie will present details on the membership arrangement at the Valley Bakers Board meeting on June 25, 2019. Additionally, ABA staff will exhibit at Valley Cooperative Association’s annual food show to promote ABA’s mission for the industry and its membership services.
