Emmy’s Organics has announced that is has achieved a fifth straight year of record-breaking growth.

Emmy’s enjoyed its strongest year ever of growth in 2017, growing 150 percent, and has recently added multiple new retailers to its distribution, including Costco, Starbucks Canada, Hannaford, Meijer, Heinen’s, SuperValu, Rite Aid, Price Chopper, Big Y and more. In addition, Emmy’s Organics formed a new partnership with the Whole Planet Foundation to help alleviate global poverty. Emmy’s $10,000 donation to the Whole Planet Foundation Ten Thousand Dollar Fund will help provide expansion funds for new microlending programs in local and global communities, enabling entrepreneurs the chance to lift themselves out of poverty.

Emmy’s Organics is also pleased to welcome Bill Kelly as its new chief executive officer and Gian Khalsa as vice president of sales.

Kelly brings more than 30 years of executive financial and operational experience to his new role as CEO. Previously, Kelly led and developed the business operations of top companies in the design, natural foods and consumer goods space, increasing both gross and net profits at each company. Kelly has a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University.

Khalsa comes to Emmy’s Organics with a multi-million dollar growth record in food and beverage and 25 years of experience in selling organic “better-for-you” products to top retail channels. Khalsa has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business, Management, Marketing and Support Services from George Mason University.
