Darifair Foods Inc., Jacksonville, FL, has named Midd McManus as president. An experienced leader in operations, sales and supply chain in the food industry, McManus is the first nonfamily member named to this position, signaling the company is positioned for dynamic growth as America’s first national dairy supplier.

In his role as president, McManus will have direct responsibility for and lead all aspects of the company. Reporting to Darifair’s executive committee, he is charged with executing the company’s long-term strategies.

Most recently, McManus served as executive vice president at Sun Orchard, leading its efforts in the foodservice beverage category. Prior to that, McManus held various leadership positions within Morningstar Foods, a subsidiary of Dean Foods. In 2011, under his leadership, McDonald’s named Dean Foods Supplier of the Year.
