The Big Chocolate Show is returning to the New York City area for the fourth year.
Set for Sept. 20-22, the weekend-long event will be held at the Resorts World Casino in Queens. Featuring samples, chocolate tastings, live demonstrations, classes and more, The Big Chocolate Show benefits Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, a national nonprofit committed to funding research for less invasive treatments for kids’ cancers.
“We are excited to bring this multi-sensory chocolate experience to Queens this year to celebrate the diversity and accessibility of this borough – a perfect match for the diversity and accessibility of chocolate,” said Matthew Saravay, president, The Big Events Group, producer of The Big Chocolate Show.
Classes range from coffee and chocolate to gluten-free chocolate breakfast, to cheese and chocolate, and cake decorating, to Bourbon & Bon Bons and Tequila & Truffles. Families will enjoy the s’mores workshop and lollipop and truffle-making classes. Adults will enjoy the 21+ area with liquor samples to complement the chocolate treats.
To kick off the festivities on Sept. 20, organizers will host A Decadent Evening of Chocolate and Cocktails, a walkaround tasting of chocolate-friendly cocktails paired with sweet and savory desserts and dishes. It will be preceded by Legends of Chocolate, honoring chocolate industry greats whose work impacts the world of chocolate. Honorees to be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets to The Big Chocolate Show range in price from $15 - $188 and include weekend passes, day passes, general admission and family passes.
