Cargill has entered into a multi-year research agreement with AeroFarms, a leader in controlled environment agriculture, aimed at improving cocoa bean yields and developing more climate-resistant agricultural practices.
Latitude’s dark chocolates contain only two ingredients, cocoa and cane sugar. All of its products and flavors draw on locally-sourced Ugandan ingredients from the milk and coffee to the vanilla.
Brand is the first of Barry Callebaut’s to achieve this milestone.
