Peeps candies soon may need to be renamed “peep-peep” - at least while they’re riding around in the “Peepster.”

Just Born Inc., which owns Peeps candies, is launching a “Peeps Magical Moments Tour" in which its Peepster Volkswagen "chick" car will travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region to celebrate all things Peeps this Christmas season.

Decked out in a festive Christmas hat, the “Peepster” will distribute free Peeps candy and coupons to fans from now until the end of December. In addition, fans will enjoy one-of-a-kind photo opportunities that they can share with friends and family via a free Peeps-themed photo download.

Along the way, the Peepster will spread joy to fans at local Christmas events, schools, and other surprise locations.

Information on stops, which will happen throughout December, will be updated on the Events tab at facebook.com/PeepsBrand

"We are excited to put the Peepster back on the road!” says Brian Bachrach, senior brand manager for Peeps. “We will be uploading images of all the new friends the Peepster meets on its journey. This tour will highlight the Peeps brand and many magical activities this Christmas season."
