Cloetta Fazer AB has changed its name to Fazer Konfektyr Service AB. The name change has been registered by the Swedish Companies Registration Office and the company will appear on the stock exchange under Fazer Konfecktyr Service AB (FKS). Shareholders approved the name change at a meeting in late November 2008.

 

Additionally, the company has entered the final stages of a demerger, with Oy Karl Fazer AB (Fazer) making a public offer to shareholders in Cloetta Fazer AB last month. The principal shareholders and owners agreed upon the demerger in June 2008 in order to keep good relationships with customers and sustain brand positions.
