For the past two years, Oreo, a Mondelez International brand, has taken the top spot for the most talked about chocolate-related brands in the world, according to NetBase’s 2015 Brand Passion Report on Chocolate and Candy Bars. The Mountain View, CA, enterprise-scale social media analytics company says the report is based on more than 150 million social conversations between Feb. 1, 2014, and Jan. 31, 2015, across social networks, review sites, blogs, forums and news sites worldwide.
The top 10 brands worldwide by total mentions during the given period are as follows:

The report also analyzes eight global chocolate brands in depth. The NetBase Brand Passion Index compares consumer Net Sentiment, the overall direction of consumer emotion, with Passion Intensity, a measure of how strongly those emotions are felt.
