Equipment Snapshot: Douglas Machine has launched the Stratum line of robotic palletizers. The systems dispense and convey pallets, manage case delivery, place slip and tier sheets, and use robotics to palletize cases. According to the company, the palletizers can run up to 40 packages per minute and pick and place single or multiple cases, including entire rows. Features include a human machine interface (HMI), an infeed conveyor, a robot pedestal, a slip sheet rack, a guarding fence and light curtain discharge. Multiple robot models are available based on application requirement.
