shouldn’t have refused. Because the union didn’t accept its latest
contract offer, the Toronto-based company will close its bakery in
Longueuil, Quebec.

According to published reports, the company will phase out the bakery’s operations prior to the end of the year.
Production at the bakery will be moved to other operations in the area.
